Adoption Days at the Library - Animals rescued from the Centro de
Acopio, the local pound, are spayed and neutered by our partnering
veterinarian, Francisco Medina. Volunteers are needed to speak with
potential adoptive persons, feed, water and walk the dogs and feed,
water and socialize with the cats. Shifts are approximately two

Dog walking at the Centro de Acopio - Dogs seldom get any outings from
their overcrowded kennels. Volunteers are needed to walk the dogs
every Thursday from 10 AM-2 PM, the only time we have been given
permission for this. Contact: Vera Lugo - veralugo_si@hotmail.com

Dog talking any day at the clinic of Dr. Francisco Medina. He removes
animals from the Acopio, tests them, sterilizes them,
deworms, treats for fleas and ticks, has them bathed twice a week and
boards them until they're adopted. Dr. Medina suggests 9 AM and 7 PM.
